The Universitat of Barcelona Zentrum fuer Informatik proudly announces
Y.A.P.O.L./U.B.L. (Yet Another Pascal-Oriented Language/ University of
Barcelona Language), an UBL-based, user-friendly, fault-tolerant,
good performance/price ratio PDE (Program Development Environment)
well-tested and well-suited for Educational, Data Center and Scientifical
Applications.

Features:
  YAPOL Version 1 offers increased Maintainability, Availability and
  Serviceability (M.A.S.) w.r.t. pre-YAPOL (Rel 0.0, Rel 0.1, Rel 0.2 Mod 1,
  Rel. 0.1 Mod 2 and Rel. 0.2 Mod 3) UBL releases. Features also
  (as an optional RPQ Ñ5437-SS2) the YAPOL/UBL Performance Analysis and
  Statistics Gathering (YUPASG), an Installed User Program (IUP) that
  assists the Application Programmer, System Analyst and Data Services Manager
  in analyzing YAPOL-Developed Software Costs, thereby providing extended
  execution profile and statistics serviceability at a moderated cost.

Pre-installation planning:
  VM/SP Rel 3.2 or later is required to install YAPOL/UBL Version l.
  (A 31-bit addressing version, YAPOL/UBL version 1.1, is planned for
  Second Quarter 1989; VM/XA-SF 3.1.3 will be required to install this version)

  Not necessary, but recommended, are SQL/DS, VM/IPCS, RSCS Version 2 or later,
  SPSS-X, SMART and VMAP.
